My Shopping Trip

Keeping it real...

Thank Goodness for storage space. I decided to do a monthly (and more) shopping trip to take advantage of Harris Teeter's Triple Coupon weekend. Triple coupons continue today and I have not looked through today's coupons to see what I may be able to get for free but, I will add that later. I will need to only buy milk, eggs, and fruit for the remainder of the month (and longer). Keep in mind, I have 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law in college, and 1 granddaughter that regularly come "shopping" at my house. I try to help them keep their grocery spending to a minimum by sharing anything I have stocked up.

This outing I got: 11 Betty Crocker Potatoes, 10 Minute Rice, 2 Ocean Spray Craisins, 2 Pamolive, 6 Dinty Moore Beef Stew, 7 Wishbone Salad Spritzers, 7 Luzianne Tea Bags, 2 Blistix, 6 Jolly Time Popcorn, 2 Crunch n' Munch, 1 Eggo Muffin Tops, 6 NY Dip n' Sticks, 2 Slim Jims, 4 Pace Specialty Sauces, 4 Tortilla Chips, 8 Eat Smart Chips, 4 Ground Beef, 1 Roast, 2 Pork Chops, 1 Head of lettuce, 1 bag of tomatoes, 3 Special K Waffles, 1 Rolls, 8 Grands Biscuits, 1 bag of Navel Oranges, 1 Eggo Waffles, 2 Hot Pocket Panini, 2 Orange Juice, 2 Weight Watcher Yogurt, 4 Hormel Chili, 2 Ortega Taco Shells, 2 Ortega Refried Beans, 4 packs Sweet Sue Chicken, 1 French's Dijon Mustard, 1 Frank's Hot Sauce, 6 Wholly Guacamole.

On the way home, I used my expiring Register Rewards at Walgreens to get (Not Pictured) 4 Gallons of Milk, 3 12pks Pepsi Products.

Here is the breakdown: At Harris Teeter I spent a total of $101.79 with a savings of $374.60. At Walgreens I spent $3.18 and saved $26.15. My total Spending...$104.97 with a savings of $400.75.
