A "small quantity" of Aunt Jemima Pancake & Waffle Mix is being recalled because of concerns about salmonella contamination, the Food and Drug Administration says.ABC News says the recall involves 1,000 cases that were shipped to 17 states.
The company says these products, which have a "Best Before" date between Feb. 8, 2009, and Feb 16, 2009, are included in the recall:
• Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Complete, 5 lb. (UPC 30000 43272)
• Aunt Jemima Original, 2 lb. (UPC 30000 05040)
• Aunt Jemima Original Complete, 2 lb. (UPC 30000 05070)
• Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Complete, 2 lb. (UPC 30000 05300)

Quaker Oats says on its website that "most of the product never made it to store shelves and health risk is limited to raw or undercooked product."
